Australian Training Awards

The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national awards for the vocational education and training (VET) sector, recognising and rewarding organisations and individuals for their outstanding contribution to skilling Australia. A majority of the awards presented at the Australian Training Awards are the culmination of the state and territory training awards with winners from each state and territory eligible to compete at the national finals. There are also awards available as direct entry to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations such as the Employer of the Year Award*, the International Training Provider of the Year Award** and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Youth Attainment and Transitions website live!

The Youth Attainment and Transitions website is now live! Check it out at www.transitions.youth.gov.au. The new website will be the central source of information on the Youth Connections and School Business Community Partnership Brokers programs as well highlighting the range of career and transitions options available to young people.

It is designed as a portal to help guide users through various options available to them as well as link in with State and Territory Government initiatives being implemented under the National Partnership on Youth Attainment and Transitions.
