Body image is an issue that often tops the list in surveys on what young people are most concerned about. Is it a big concern in your life or a friend’s life? Is the role of the media, community, family and friends, a big player in all of this? Does Government have a role and responsibility to do more? What do you want to see us doing?

The Hon Kate Ellis MP, Minister for Youth, launched the Australian Youth Forum (AYF) in Adelaide on 2 October, 2008. The AYF is the Australian Government's new initiative aimed at engaging young people and the youth sector in ongoing public discussion and facilitating their input into policy and decision making on issues that affect their lives.
