The Australian Youth Forum is proud to be the major sponsor of the Young Australian of the Year Award. This award celebrates the amazing achievements and accomplishments of young people across Australia - the AYF believe it is important to recognise the commitment and passion of these young Australians.

Nominate now for the Young Australian of the Year 2011

Nominations for the Young Australian of the Year 2011 are now open!

Nominations are sought for Australians from all backgrounds and all fields of endeavour including the arts, media and entertainment, business, charity, education, environment, humanitarian, Indigenous and ethnic services, medicine and science, technology and engineering or sport.

Nominees for Young Australian of the Year need to be an Australian Citizen and aged between 16 – 30 years.

This is your opportunity to recognise an inspirational young person, who through their own commitment and passion has achieved extraordinary things.

Visit the Australian of the Year website to submit a nomination for the Young Australian of the Year, or pick up a form from the Commonwealth Bank. Nominations Close 30 August 2010.
