Applications for the Youth Advisory Groups are open now and will close at 11:59 pm AEDT on Sunday 26 November. We’d appreciate your help spreading the word prior to the closing date.

Make your voice heard!
The Australian Government is looking for young people aged 16 to 25 to join five Youth Advisory Groups.
The advisory groups will work directly with the government on issues that matters to young people.
The advisory groups will take action on:
- Recognising the importance of youth representation and participation in the arts
- Bolstering civic engagement in young people across Australia
- Ending gender based violence
- Making sure young people are supported in the transition between education and employment
- Enhancing school engagement for First Nations students.

The 2024 Youth Advisory Groups are:
- Creative Industries Youth Advisory Group, working with the Office for the Arts
- Civic Engagement Youth Advisory Group, working with the Department of Home Affairs
- Prevention of Gender-Based Violence Youth Advisory Group, working with the Department of Social Services
- Employment Youth Advisory Group, working with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations
- First Nations Education Youth Advisory Group, working with the Department of Education and the National Indigenous Australians Agency.
