2026 Consultations
We want to hear from you to inform the development of our new Youth Strategy!
We want to better understand:
- what issues matter most to young people in Australia
- how government should include young people in decisions that impact them
- how youth perspectives can influence policies and services across government.
If you’re a young person aged 12–25, let us know what you think by sharing your views in our National Youth Survey.
The youth sector, government and organisations that work with or for young people are invited to provide feedback through a discussion paper.
Make a submission
Have your say on the future of open government in Australia.
Public consultation is now open on 7 potential commitments for Australia's Fourth National Action Plan under the Open Government Partnership.
The commitments are informed by ideas from forum members, government and the broader community and focus on:
- improving access to information and media literacy
- advancing transparency, integrity and accountability
- strengthening youth and public participation in government decision-making.
Consultation closes on Friday 6 November 2026.
Share your experiences
The Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (DHDA) has asked ARTD to look at how Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031 is working.
They want to know about young people’s experience of access and inclusion.
You can share your thoughts by:
- taking part in group interview online
- filling in a form online.
All participation in this project is voluntary.
