We run Youth Advisory Groups to support young people to connect with government. They work with Ministers and government agencies on policies and programs that affect young people.

We are making sure young people are empowered, valued, and can contribute to government decision-making. In March 2024 we launched Engage! A strategy to include young people in the decisions made by government (Engage!).

The Youth Steering Committee is a group of young people aged 12 to 25. They come from every state and territory. They represent the diversity of Australian communities.

It is important to understand the impacts of vaping and smoking tobacco. There are lots of places you can get support to quit!
