Each year, we close the loop and report on actions, impacts and lessons learnt in response to 3 key priorities and 9 measurable actions outlined in our youth engagement strategy, Engage!.
In our Engage! Impacts and insights 2025-26 report, we share a snapshot of your key achievements over the last reporting period. We are also closing the loop on our progress implementing Engage!, which is a yearly commitment by the Australian Government.
2025-26 was an amazing year for the Office for Youth.
We engaged with over 430 young people and 10 Australian Government agencies through our programs and in-person consultations. We also heard from 2,333 young people through our 2025 National Youth Survey!

Next steps: We want to keep programs adaptable and take on feedback, utilising mechanisms like our National Youth Survey, youth programs and national consultations. We will continue to facilitate meaningful, effective and relevant engagements that amplify young people's ideas with government.
