2025 Youth Advisory Group members announced

Today, the Minister for Youth, the Hon Dr Anne Aly appointed members to 2025 Youth Advisory Groups.

The groups are made up on new and ongoing members who represent the breadth of diversity in young people across Australia.

The 2025 Youth Advisory Groups are:

  • Civic Engagement Youth Advisory Group working with the Department of Home Affairs
  • Climate Change and Water Youth Advisory Group working with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water
  • Creative Industries Youth Advisory Group working with the Office for the Arts
  • First Nations Youth Advisory Group working with the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations
  • Prevention of Gender-Based Violence Youth Advisory Group working with the Department of Social Services.

Each group consists of up to 10 young people aged from 16 to 24. They come from almost every state and territory in Australia and each bring a unique perspective from their lived experience.
