Transition to Work
Transition to Work is an Australian Government employment service that helps young people aged 15 to 24 to continue education or get ready for a new job.
Eligible participants are matched with a provider and supported to get ready for work, find education or training options (like internships or apprenticeships), as well as connect with local job opportunities and community services.
Transition to Work providers have strong links to local employers, community services and schools to provide this support for young people.
The program is designed for young people who might not have completed school or disengaged from education/training.
To learn more about Transition to Work and eligibility, visit the Department of Education’s website. You can also find a local provider near you to find out more on the Workforce Australia website.
