The Youth Advisory Groups and Youth Steering Committee travelled from across Australia to meet in Canberra on 29 March.  

The members for the 5 new Youth Advisory Groups have been announced!

On Wednesday 25 January, Awer Mabil was named the Young Australian of the Year at the 2023 Australian of the Year Awards in Canberra.

Applications are now open for young people aged 16 to 25 to join the Australian Government’s new Youth Advisory Groups.

Minister for Youth, the Hon Dr Anne Aly MP, today welcomed the 15 young people who form the Australian Government’s new Youth Steering Committee.

The 2023 Young Australian of the Year state and territory recipients have been awarded at local ceremonies across the country between 31 October and 15 November.

The Australian Government committed $10.5 million in last night’s Federal Budget for a new Youth Engagement Model.

Applications are now open for young people aged 12 to 25 to join the Australian Government’s Youth Steering Committee.
